We have powered sites, tent sites, deluxe,  standard & budget cabins (some of which are absolute beach front sites), a fully equipped camp kitchen which includes two gas barbecues, spacious disabled facilities as well as very clean ablution blocks & laundry plus two three metre Pelican fiberglass boats for hire.

The cliff top walk is very popular and you will often see spectacular displays by pods of dolphins or seals that make their home in this area. The jetty is another popular place to explore and if you are lucky you may well see our resident seal ‘Henry’ and his family who are seen lazing around the pylons under the jetty or often putting on a show for everyone in the bay. There are also breathtaking views of the never ending ocean and amazing rock formations that form our cliff tops including the incredible needle eye.

Resident owners Chris and Linda Smith welcome you to Venus Bay Caravan Park, a delightful spot situated on the beach front. Venus Bay is a small township 6 kms from the main highway and lies between Elliston and Streaky Bay on the West Coast of South Australia.

Venus Bay is an ideal place to fish, surf, explore, or just relax. An assortment of fish are caught in our protected bay including King George Whiting, Tommy Ruff (Herring), Flathead, Salmon Trout, Trevally, Snook, Garfish and Squid.  These can be caught either in a boat or just off of the jetty. If you have a larger vessel you can catch some bigger species just out of the bay in the Bight, including Snapper, Salmon, Nannygai & Sweep just to name a few.
